Lennie and Leigh–Married–Madison, VA Wedding Photographer

What can I say about Lennie and Leigh’s wedding?!  I looooved everything about it!  It was a destination wedding for them, as they are from West Virginia.  They rented a farmhouse in Madison, and stayed there with about 20 people.  It was a very intimate wedding, and then we had FUN with pictures.  I shot a ton of pictures and couldn’t help myself because their wedding party was so fun!  There were so many neat details, and their families were so nice and welcoming.  What a fabulous day!

I’m going to break their wedding into two posts so I can share more – this post will have pre-wedding shots and ceremony shots!

Luke–A Newborn Session–Culpeper, Virginia

I was so excited for Luke to enter the world so I could take his newborn pictures. He was less than a week old, and as is my luck, stayed awake for the whole session.  He of course just wanted mom, so we used a lot of patience to work with him to get his shots!  Modeling is such hard work!

The J Family–Louisa Family Photographer

Hello neglected blog!
You’ll recognize some of the J Family photographs from my Facebook page!
We got together back in April, and had a beautiful day in Louisa, along with some family fun!  I had  “cheeseburger” yelled at me about 500 times by the hilarious Paige, and the family even had some ideas of their own (zombie family portrait anyone?!)  They surely kept me entertained!

 

I snuck in some shots of the kids while mom and dad finished getting ready!  They really get along so well, which was so sweet to see
