Lilly's Newborn Pictures [Locust Grove, Virginia]

I had the wonderful opportunity to photography Lilly when she was just under one week old!  She was so alert (she stayed awake the whole time I was photographing!) and loved stretching out her legs.  She's just the cutest little thing!

 And, let's not forget proud big brother Landon, who I managed to catch a few shots of before his naptime!  He was way too into being a superhero to be bothered by a camera... so I had to chase him around the house!

Charlotte

Charlotte is just the cutest thing ever who was in town visiting her grandma for the holidays!  I had a fun time hanging out with them (and Charlotte's parents) to take some pictures.  It was really cold out that day, so we stayed inside to play.  I'm pretty sure Charlotte thought I was just a crazy lady with a camera, as she was pretty skeptical about me at first, but she ended the photo session with a hug for me :o)

Katie and Derek - Engagement Session

When I was back in Michigan for Christmas, I met up with Katie and Derek to shoot some engagement photos!  This was no regular shoot however - it was FREEZING outside!  We walked around for a while, heading to the location where their wedding reception will be, and tried to stay warm with lots of laughter!  We then stopped at a local coffee shop for some hot drinks!  Thanks for the hot cocoa Katie :o)
